COMPOSITION Photo Walk - Beginner Architecture Treasure Hunt
To kick off my composition style Photo Walks, I am going to start off with a fun “Architecture Treasure Hunt”. Here I’ll give you a list of architectural features or scenes to find and photograph on the walk. This is intended to help you start seeing the intricate details, geometric shapes, or stories architecture can show us. You can’t really start learning to compose architecture photos without learning how to spot what you are drawn to in a scene! The aim here to help train your architecture eyes.
I don’t want to give too much away in what will be on the list, but I won’t make it too challenging and the aim is to have fun while you’re learning to get your architecture eyes activated! Of course, I’ll be on hand to guide and assist in how you can then photograph the items on the treasure hunt list when you find them. I’ll also have some sample images of my own to show you.
All will be revealed and explained at the beginning of the walk. I suggest this as the walk you start with and I’m hoping it will then encourage you to continue on doing more of my composition style photo walks, which will focus on a single composition technique.
The tour is expected to run for approximately 2.5 hours and the meetup location will be given in the booking confirmation email (but it will be in a central location in the city). We may have a short coffee/rest stop during the walk and there will also be the option to sit and relax for a meal/drink together afterwards (at your cost).
MIN 2 MAX 8 PARTICIPANTS
(Contact me if you wish to be added to a waitlist if you miss out on a particular walk date)
