Join me on this walk to explore the architecture of the Circular Quay precinct (being my term for the area bounded by George Street, Cahill Expressway, Phillip and Bridge Streets - it does not include the Opera House). Although there are still heritage buildings to see, we will be looking at modernist and more recent architectural additions to the area. There are so many wonderful architectural features to show you and photo opportunities!
Of course, I’ll be on hand to inspire (showing you some of my own photos) and guide you in capturing your own interesting images (on your camera or phone). A map will be provided so you can return to explore the area more, if we miss covering everything on our walk. A list of information about the buildings can also be provided after the walk, upon request.
The tour is expected to run for approximately 2.5 - 3 hours and the meetup location will be given in the booking confirmation email. We may have a short coffee/rest stop during the walk and there may also be the option to sit and relax for a meal/drink together afterwards (at your own cost).
